I have been a teacher and tutor for 6 years. I have taught Literature, Reading, Writing, World History, Social Studies, Grammar Mechanics, College Essay Writing, and Editing. My area of expertise is in language. I teach German to English speaking students and English to non-English speaking students.I have a bachelor's degree in English and German. My undergraduate work was split between Georgetown University and Oxford University. While attending Oxford, I studied European Literature. I am currently attending the University of Kentucky for my M.A. in German Language and Literature.My method of tutoring is interactive. I make learning a fun and exciting experience. I understand that each person learns in a different way and not at the same rate. I provide an interactive and fun way of learning a subject or new language. Therefore, I develop a learning plan for each student.My education has allowed me to travel the world, and the experience that I gained has allowed me to hold many different job titles, including professional copywriter for online journals and businesses, and syndicated newspaper columnist.
