Experience
I attended Oklahoma State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. I also went to the U. of Dallas, where I received a Master of Business Administration. In my last year at Oklahoma State University, I taught an intro Psychology course to first-year students. I also have quite a bit of expertise as a tutor. I worked with young students on elementary level Mathematics and Reading. Outside of academic teaching, I've also acted as a teacher of martial arts with the Plano Parks and Recreation Dept. (I'm a black belt.) I can work with students in a large range of subjects, including Mathematics (Elementary/Middle School), Statistics, Reading, Writing, Business, United States History, English, and Social Sciences. I'm also helpful with essay writing and editing skills, phonics, grammar and mechanics, organization, and study skills. Additionally, I'm able to work with students in IB Psychology SL and Business Management HL/SL. In my work outside teaching, I analyze mortgages for a big bank. In this work, I've given procedural training to many of my peers. My daughter is a tutor as well. In my off time, I lead an active lifestyle. I enjoy golfing, cycling, and fitness.
