Experience
I have trained high school students for research positions in laboratories and overseen their research projects in archaeology, museum studies and biology for two years. For 4 summers, I tutored music at the GDYO outreach program for kids k-12. I focus on violin and music theory. I have also tutored earth science at the EDS Jason project camp for two years, grades k-7. I belong to the Mortar Board National Honors society, Sigma Kappa Delta English Honor Society and the Tau Sigma Transfer Student Honor Society. I was awarded the Hamilton Undergraduate Research Scholars Program Grant for the 2013-2014 academic year. I have also had two poems published in the Celebration of Poets Anthology. I have transferred schools before in elementary, high school and college. I am happy to help any students struggling with that rough transition, having experienced it myself. I will be happy to tutor you/your child at your home. In addition to this, if you would prefer to meet and study at a neutral location such as the library, I am more than happy to do so.
