**SUMMER AVAILABILITY- June to mid-August** I'm a tutor from Duke University with 3+ years of experience tutoring! I tutored one on one for two years at Lamar University, being named Tutor of the Month twice! This past year, I worked with elementary, middle, and high school students in Durham Public Schools (in North Carolina). I've tutored everything from basic literacy, to algebra, to calculus, to the SAT-- and everything in between! I work to make sure students understand what they're doing and why-- it's not necessarily about the answers, but it's about getting there, and my students are able to take the skills they learn with me an apply it to future classes. I use an inquiry-based approach that stresses understanding over the answers and encourage risk-taking in our sessions. I received a 2360 on my SAT and a 4.0 at an early college entrance program at Lamar University.
