I'm a tutor that is based out of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where I enjoy cooking, traveling, and spending time with my son when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of New Orleans and am almost finished with my masters degree in education, with a focus on school counseling. As a tutor, I'm able to help students in a variety of subject areas. Some of the lessons I've taught in the past have been in math, science, English, and standardized test preparation, amongst other things. I have over ten years of experience working in the education and child development worlds. This has given me the opportunity to teach every from Pre-K and elementary school, where I was also able to provide students with behavior therapy. I have experience working with special needs students as well. I'm extremely passionate about working with students, which is why I decided to become a teacher and a tutor. I love the feeling I get when one of my students has a breakthrough moment in a class they've been struggling with for some time.
